Here we are going to show you the way to measure battery voltage of Dolphin XP005/ Dolphin XPP05L Machine.

Steps:

1.Select DC power supply gear, measure the voltage of these two pins of the battery, and send tech support the result.

2.Measure the voltage of these two pins of the main board and send us the result.

1)Unplug these two cable on the motherboard

2)Turn the multimeter to this setting (Diode gear)

3)Measure the volts of these two pins, and show tech support photo like this

4)Measure these other two pins value

(Note the color of the meter pens in the diagram)

*Better show xhorse tech support photos to ensure that the gear and pins are correct

Question:

I use VVDI2 with Full Licenses.

VVDI2 read cluster model and number attached.

VVDI2 say to select MQB with locked 35xx JC instruments.

Immo data VVDI2 can't read via obd and show message to read if cluster with/without external eeprom with opening and another programmer (I use to read ST95128 original Xprog full, eeprom file attached).

This cluster 3G0920751 have processor D70F3426AGJ + external eeprom ST95128.

After VVDI2 say upload eeprom in soft to generate immo data.

I select 95128 chip read file and after VVDI2 show that can't support this type.

I need to add second key, one original key I have

Here is the Answer:

To decode immo data from D70F3426AGJ + external eeprom ST95128, VVDI2 requires cluster cpu data and 8-pin EEPROM data.

And VVDI2 could only identify data from Xhorse Tools (Multi Prog, Key Tool Plus), so it won't load data from X-PROG3 but give an error.

One customer gave feedback that he could not install Ford driver in Xhorse MVCI PRO manager.

And he had a new "Error 2" after he deleted all drivers and installed Forscan for Ford diagnostic

Here Xhorsevvdi tech support answers:

1)To fix "install fail" error,

Uninstall other drivers

Update MVCI PRO firmware

Installing Ford driver.

2)To fix "Error 2",

Download Ford IDS not Forscan.

MVCI PRO does not support Forscan yet.

Don’t need to solder, nor read or write.

Key Tool Plus Programming Tablet is able to get the code.

Here is a review of Key Tool Plus/ VVDI MB:

Mercedes ML W164, only key stopped worked. Suspicious for damaged EIS (not even start cluster), confirmed, some adapters replaced and solder jobs. Still not started - old key not synchronized with EIS. AKL bench job.

KTP did not even read EIS! Lot of trials...

Same connection, same cables and adapters used for VVDI MB TOOL, read EIS ok, read pass - but only slow technique, don't to work with fast MB adapter (lDK why), million times in and out IR adapter, but after few hours read pass and programmed new key, started a vehicle without issue

Here are some tips for reading W164 EIS:

For Key Tool Plus Key Programming Tablet,

1)Try if the tool would read EIS data without Fast Adapter

2)Make sure the Fast Adapter is the one for Key Tool Plus (There is one port at each side of the adapter)

3)Try Solderless EIS W164 Adapter

For VVDI MB Key Programmer,

If the tool is connected to VVDI MB Fast Adapter, select W164 (Fast) option and no need to in/ out IR adapter.

D70F3426 VW cluster. Read 3 times all 3 reads are different. Does anyone know why? Faulty VVDI Multi Prog ECU Programmer? Wrong Soldering? Put the eeprom back on? This cluster is new would be nice to have virgin files.

It is normal, MQB48 cluster is encrypted so every time power the cluster it will change.

Just try decode immo data in VVDI2, always the same result from different dumps

It's Multi Prog that encrypts the reads.

It's a security protection measure.

*Remember to remove and read EEPROM, then we could have the full immo data file

One customer gave feedback that he already got key bittings by lishi tools and opened car doors, but he cut 3 Toyota TOY43 keys, and none of them fit in the ignition.

He did not know the first 2 bittings so tried "Unknown" button to get the rest bittings but Xhorse Condor II Key Cutting Machine required the complete bittings. And he entered "11" and get a bitting code.

Here is the Answer:

Generally we could get the rest 1 or 2 bittings through "Query" function.

Follow the steps below,

1)Select key type

2)Enter bittings we know

3)Select "Query" button

4)Select Vehicle brand

5)Select key type with full bittings

*We could use the function from Condor II Machine screen and in Xhorse phone app.

Multi Prog ECU Programmer won't read Mercedes W169 EIS. I didn't do any of them, I did 10 of them, none of them worked, and in one of them, W203 only read flash in EIS, but not eeprom.
