Question:
Xhorse XSBTKOGL Smart Key, it worked when I first tested it. It was updatable and had remote data pre-programmed. Days later, tried to program it to a vehicle. It no longer appears in my Bluetooth list. tried to write new remote key data to it. It wrote successfully and the LED light flashed, but read the transponder ID and key could not be recognized
Here is the Answer:
Xhorse Bluetooth Key won't be recognized after remote generation because it is locked after tests.
Link key to phone on app (key is linked to up to 12 phones) and key pcb will be recognized by key tools.

Problem:
I have Xhorse VVDI2 and VVDI Super Chip,
When using vvdi2 to write a dealer key from immo data I am getting a "failed to set VVDI super chip ! - Error 00”
Tried several of the new ones they were all the same.
But I successfully cloned an id63 with them.


I have also tried generating some transponders and get the same error.

Here is the Solution:
Update Firmware V7.3.7 again and VVDI2 will work fine.

Problem:
We have x2 original keys. Both have same result on VVDI Key Tool Plus. Both keys remote central locking work.
And keys are seen by EIS when read eis key data.

Here is troubleshooting:
Step 1.Try to turn on and off the ignition to synchronize key
If there is no response from ignition. Have tried this many times. Key turns in EIS but no dash lights illuminate
Step 2.Use oem key or VVDI MB Remote?
Original keys that customer give us. No keys made. And they still operate central locking

Step 3.Make sure write new data in
if original keys are brand new, users still need to write data in;
if original keys are used, open key, desolder chip, erase data, and write new data.

Problem:
VVDI Key Tool Plus, XDNP81MQBAdapter
Key tool plus fails to read VW virtual cluster, it is D70F3256, when put back in car it is black and won't power on.. every time I read data from MCU it's chip configuration failed.



Here is the Solution:
Some pins are close to GND, so wrong connection may break cluster.
Test short circuits using multi-meter,
RESET short-circuited: RESET and GND conducting -- read and replace chip (lift RESET and soldering)
VCC short-circuited: desolder chip,
1)cluster short-circuited: read chip
2)chip short-circuited: cluster broken

2023 Tacoma FCCID HYQ14FBB
Xhorse Key Tool Max Pro doesn’t have a profile listed under Toyota but they do under Lexus for XM38 Remote.
Generated the correct profile and programmed to the car.
After changing button frequency all buttons work.
Proximity start is not working.
Are there any values I can change to attempt to get it to work?

Problem:
Xhorse Multi Prog can write to cflash. Only reads but not writes to dflash of processor. Customer has synced and updated 5 times,
Marked it in red in dflash, it does not say write while cflash does. When reading cflash customer changes it to dflash but the icon for write does not appear.
What could be the problem?

Here is the Solution:
Users need to pre-process d-flash data before loading it into Multi Prog Tool.
Load and write d-flash files on 'MCU>>REBESAS>>RH850>>R7F701034'.

Xhorse VVDI2 and vvdi key tool plus will release BMW G series BDC2 soon, and to use safer with BMW G series car, will release BMW G series solder-free adapter to use together. Here is the test steps for key tool plus and BMW G series solder-free adapter to add BMW BDC2 key.
And as a friendly reminder, this is beta version of cable, when it is OK to sale, the product actual outlook maybe different.
Here is the step:
1. Remove the housing of the BDC2.

2. Take out the PCB, connect the BMW G series solder-free adapter with the BDC2 PCB.




3. Connect with VVDI Key Tool Plus.





4. Enter vvdi key tool plus BCD2 Programming page.
5. Then do like the 3 steps: Read Vehicle Information; Pre-process BDC2 IMMO info; Generate dealer key;

6. After successful reading and no abnormal prompts click OK to continue.

7. Pre-process step

After entering pre-processing: Step one is to back up the code.
Click OK and the system starts reading and saving the code.

The whole process needs to be connected to the network.
After the code is saved, pre- processing begins.

Step two: Enter the mode.
After entering step two, the system automatically processes data upload.
Wait patiently for the process to end until the system indicates readiness.

Step three: Read key password.
Follow the device prompt to stably connect the 8 - corner IC adapter.


Click OK to read key pass.

Read successfully, click OK to save the key code.

Step four: Upgrade programming
The process will take about 8-10 minutes.
Do not touch any connection lines or the power of the adapter during this process.

Step five: Restore the code
Click OK, and the system automatically restores the previously stored code.
After restore OK, Click OK. Then exit the pro-processing page.


8. Make Dealer Key

Select the key position for new key.

The system prompts to load the previously saved key file.

Insert the original car key to read the synchronization data from it.

Read OK and then save the sync data.

Next time if you want to add a key, you can directly generate it with the key file and synchronization data, without pre-processing again.
9. Put back the PCB into original shell.

9. Key- generating process is completed. Then perform BDC restoration.
The Xhorse BMW BDC2 adapter can only handle data processing for key matching.
To learn and verify the key, install the BDC2 in the car or use a test bench (GODIAG for BMW BCD2 Test Platform).

When learning a new key, place it within the test bench's or vehicle's induction range and press the start button for 15 seconds.

The 8- corer IC card in the video is for testers to DIY modify. The official product will have a more secure card- board structure.

Problem:
VVDI2 Programmer won't work on my computer. it just doesn't recognize the tool.


Solution:
Disable driver signature enforcement in Windows
- Temporarily Disable through Startup Settings:
- Restart your computer and press and hold the Shift key while clicking "Restart" from the Power options menu.
- Choose "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Startup Settings" > "Restart".
- Press 7 or F7 to select "Disable driver signature enforcement".
- Your computer will reboot with driver signature enforcement disabled, allowing you to install unsigned drivers.
- Permanently Disable through Command Prompt:
- Open Command Prompt as administrator.
- Type the following commands and press Enter after each:
bcdedit.exe -set load options DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
- Restart your computer

To swap VW cluster, we need VVDI2 and VVDI PROG/ Multi Prog.
VVDI PROG or Multi Prog will read data and VVDI2 will retrofit cluster.
Here we are going to show you how.

Steps:
Save ABS coding using VCDS in vehicle.

Open old cluster.
Connect cluster pcb to VVDI PROG and cut wires by diagrams.




Read eeprom data.

Run VVDI2 software.
Select MQB Locked replace dashboard menu.
Load eeprom data.

Save new eeprom data.
Write new data in new/ donor cluster.

Install new cluster in vehicle.
Write original coding to cluster using VCDS.

Done! That's how to swap cluster using VVDI2 + VVDI PROG.

During make calculations Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool take 200 points from my account, but don't show I become it back when use Xhorse MLB Keys.
Here is the Solution:
Follow the steps below and no point is needed
1)Put VVDI MLB Key on VVDI MLB Tool

2)Go to Step 2 and select option 2 (using OEM keys)

3)When this notice pops up, put the original key back and select 'OK'
