Question:
VVDI2+ VVDI PROG can read locked BCM2 units? If I need to buy MQB NEC35XX License?
Here is the Answer:
The tools will read BCM2 but locked/encrypted units are not supported.
MQB NEC35XX License is not required.

*If the software shows "Reading...(0%) Read Error", it means that the chip is encrypted and users need to try other tools.

Done! Hope this helps!

Question:
Did my first mlb key last week with VVDI MLB Tool and used a new renata 2032 battery, customers calling saying keys dead already, anyone had any issues with these Xhorse MLB Remotes draining battery quickly?
Had to put the key on the reader in center console and start it and it worked fine again. Not sure why it lost sync though.

Possible Solutions:
1.Use GP, Energizer, or Varta battery instead of Renata battery
Feedback:
1)The Renata battery is the problem. in keyless lasts few weeks at most. Try GP or Varta.
2)Same thing Renta battery is the problem they work fine but when you use with mqb key or mlb don't work. I use Energizer
2.Try KYDZ or Original keys
Feedback:
1)Had two VVDI MLB Keys that failed days after programming bought KYDZ ones haven’t had any issues and have done about 10 of them
Done! Hope this helps!

It's with the xdnp41 adapter

Xhorse Engineer suggestion:
Before reading, increase VPP by 0.2V in the power settings and try again

It worked when I changed vpp to 3.1

As we know, xhorse multi prog comes with free MQB48 NEC35XX license, if you have vvdi2 full, bind vvdi2 and xhorse multi prog with same xhorse account, then your vvdi2 can load the mqb48 data which read via multi prog to add new key. Some customers maybe confused about the combine process, here is the simple instrucstion.
1. Xhorse Account
If you do not use Xhorse tools before, not have Xhorse app or xhorse account, please register xhorse account on Xhorse app.
Here is the xhorse app download QR code

Then register Xhorse Account with your email

Please note that after you register with email, if you do not have phone number account before, no need to continue the phone number, just back to other steps, or it will have error.
2. Bind Xhorse multi prog
Connect multi prog with computer, start multi prog software, in update online option choose combine device

3. How to bind xhorse vvdi2?
Connect vvdi2 with computer, and use xhorse update kit software

I've new come up against UDS cluster AKL. I have a 2012 golf cluster and it goes into boot mode ok but when I try to read the IMMO data it comes up with no standard upload data failed…
I have a GODIAG GT110 Test Platform plugged in. The unit is 5K0920973A.
I’ve tested my training unit and I get to the immo data fine.
How to sort it with Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Tablet?

Here is the Solution:
Save abs long coding first, desolder eeprom, read and save it, write service mode on eeprom, solder back, put cluster in car read immo data and save it, write original eeprom via obd, make dealer key, add key, reset cluster.
Done! Hope this helps!
