One Key Tool Plus users wondered why part of functions were removed.

When he purchased his KTP all functions are active, and he had done ISN jobs on bench using Bosch and Multifunction Adapters. Then he had F30 with B58 AKL and unable to read ISN, To add removed function back, need an extra pay.

Here is the answer:

The previous Read ISN function included engine computers including N20 N55 B38 B48, etc.

The MSV90, MSV80, MSD's ECUs are newly added modules, which requires new Bench Read ISN License.

One customer gave feedback that his VVDI2 said "Unknown Version" after he loaded file for IVECO Stralis EEPROM 25c640.

*For "Unknown Version" error when writing dump, you could send dump file to your seller to check reason

After checking dump file, we found

Reason:

Wrong selection when reading data with VVDI PROG.

Solution:

Carefully check info on chip, select correct Brand in V5.2.8 VVDI PROG.

Question:

Possible to program Audi A6 J518 0L01Y AKL? Car sat without keys, screws missing and J518 disconnected... able to read 0L01Y eeprom and program two dealer keys, but FLASH is all FF.

Solution:

Read& Write EEPROM in J518 Emulator.

Direct read write EEPROM by VVDI PROG.

Usually writing Flash is not required.

One customer gave feedback that his VVDI PROG cannot unlock Motorola MC9S12XEQ512MAA chip. When I want to unlock the system it reaches 99% and an error pops up.

Read ID ok, and connection is good.

Slightly heat chip and try more a few times.

If it asks for location of partition when reading after unlocking, Do not continue, data loss may happen.

Max Pro firmware doesn't support Generate Emulator function, direct generate remote and it will be fine.

2.Worked for me many times, I used it enough to test control before physically generating it

3.Because it's useless, why would u want to generate a remote for a VW and use an emulator? seems like a waste of time. So easy to pick correct remote in key tool max, all u need to do is match fcc and ic #'s up, and on these VW just match up numbers and it is good to go

4.If you have AKL on a vehicle good habit to get into is to look vehicle up on a suppliers site and see FCC as and frequency and everything. Then you go into job with as much info as possible and you won't need to spend time testing different remotes

New Xhorse BMW Motorcycle License allows VVDI2/ Key Tool Plus users to program BMW motorcycle 8A/4D keys.

Here we will show you how to add key for C400X 4D via OBD.

Process:

Run VVDI2 BMW software.

Go to

Key Learn>>Motorcycle Key Learn>>

Read key info.

Preprocess module.

Notes:

1.Pre-process takes about 3 minutes, supply power to vehicle if voltage is too low

2.If part of functions don't work after pre-process, use BMW engineering software to program/code modules

Preprocess done, start car to make it work well.

Read key info again, and it's unlocked now.

Select a blank key position and click "Read Security Key".

Put a VVDI Super Chip into VVDI2 Programmer coil.

Question:

I'm working on Range Rover Ir3 2007 CEM module.

Was reading information with VVDI PROG added a key with VVDI2 and write it back to CEM.

Went back to vehicle but would not start.

Note:

The marked component should be removed and a 10k resistor is required, and PCB should be restored after data reading.

Possible Solution:

Pinout is correct since VVDI Programmer reads data out, so check if the component is soldered back very well after reading.

FBS X MBE Calculator

Procedures:

Step 1.Read immo data

Remove immo box.

Connect chip to orange5 by adapter and soldering.

Read immo data.

Solder chip back to immo box.

Step 2.Generate Key File

Run FBS X Calculator.

Load immo data file.

Generate file.

Step 3.Write File to Key

Desolder key chip.

Put chip into eeprom adapter and connect adapter to VVDI PROG.

Write key file to key.

Solder chip back to key.

Remote works and car starts.

One customer gave feedback that his Dolphin XP008 won't cut his keys. The cutting plate will immediately stop rotating once it touched key blank.

Reason:

XP008 is tightened by the spring.

The blank is too thick and blank touches cutting plate too quickly.

Solution:

Slightly loosen two screws, confirm machine move normally, and tighten them.
