Problem:

Car: Land Rover Sport 2017

MCU: MC9S12XEQ384

Mask: 1M12S

Add key (customers keys works good - starts, proximity and remote work) locked RFA.

Read D-Flash and EEPROM with Autel (by removing capacitor and oscillator) - went to write key - Says invalid file (both D-Flash 4.0KB and EPROM 2.0KB have correct sizes)

Returned electronic components on the circuit board - Returned RFA in the car - customers remote and proximity stopped working, engine can be started only when key is close to the coil) - Managed to program a spare key over OBD (since MCU was already unlocked) with Key Tool Plus but same story - key only starts the engine when key is next to the coil.

Removed RFA again - Read with VVDI Key Tool plus - MCU was already unlocked after Autel - Read D-Flash, EEPROM, P-Flash and POF, tried to decoded D-flash and EEPROM with KTP and VVDI, after choosing EEPROM both say "The file is not supported by current module”;

Locked MCU using bytes - FE (received by trying unlock MCU with KTP) - didn’t make any difference.

Here is the Answer:

Oscillator is broken because it is heated too much.

Replace oscillator or KVM.
