Before we program a key, we may need to renew locked keys. Here we introduce 4 ways to renew a locked key.

Part 1. Xhorse renew cable/adapter

1)Renew cable

Work with: Mini Key Tool/Key Tool Max

Path: Special function>>remote renew>>model>>key type

Connection:

2)Renew adapter

Only able to unlock original keys.

Work with: VVDI Mini/VVDI Max/Mini Prog (require XDKP30 Adapter)

Path: Special function>>remote renew>>model>>key type

Connection:

Part 2. Hexprog renew cable+adapter

Path: Key Functions>>Key Reset>>model>>key type

Connection:

Need to solder renew cable on PCB board and then connect it to adapter and Hexprog.

Part 3. OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus

Path: IMMOBILIZER>>Renew key>>model>>key type>>

Connection:

Need to connect DP Plus Pad, renew box and adapter, and hold two pins on while it's renewing.

Part 4. KeyDiy KD-X2

Path: Chip Function>>Remote Review>>model>>chip type

Connection:

Need to clip two clamps and hold two pins on while it's renewing.
