Solved! 2017 VW Passat Won't Recognize Key after VVDI2 AKL Programming
Question:
17 VW Passat - akl
2014- VDO NEC+24c64
On bench: Service mode>>Read eeprom- save>>Read immo - save>>Generated dealer key >>Added key directly to immo>>Reset cluster
Why after resetting cluster, still won’t recognize keys?
Read immo after learning keys, and keys were written into position 4 and 5.
Tried plugging cluster back to vehicle and same. Also vehicle alarm was going off
Answer:
Use the wrong key(chip).
MQB48 Chip is required, so is Xhorse MQB Authorization License.
